Friends who are always late or unreliable

Can't stand people who are always late or unreliable?
That's a really common social issue people have is when one
or more of their friends are flaky.
Some ways people can be unreliable when :
- They're frequently late.
- They often cancel plans at the last second , or if they didn't make a firm commitment, announce at the last second they can't make it.
- They're hard to make plans with in the first place. They're always busy and have to get back to you.
- They're undependable about returning your calls or texts. They may not get back to you for three weeks, then text you out of the blue one Friday asking if you want to do something. Sometimes these people seem to have a knack for not being in contact for weeks, then dropping you a line just before you're about to give up on them entirely.
Sometimes people are totally secure with a friendship apart
from the person's flakiness. At other times they wonder if their
friend's unreliable behavior is a sign they don't really care
about them all that much.
Sometime i feel like hitting them with a hammer or something
just to wake them up.
But yeah, i'm not that type of person who hits people
especially when it comes to friends.
But hey, WAKE UP WILL YA?
